Vice President of Operations
David has over 25 years of electric utility experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and obtained his Professional engineering license in 1997. David began his employment at inter-County Energy in June of 2005 as the system engineer. He began his career working as a ground man with his father’s electric utility construction company. After which completed college and worked for Kentucky Utilities as a student engineer for 3 years and 1 year as a full time staking engineer. He then worked as a system engineer for Jackson County Energy for 7 years. He then worked as a design build engineer for Milner Electric where he held Professional engineering license in both Tennessee and Florida performing electrical designs for various Commercial and Industrial buildings. He then spent 4 year with Brownstown Electric Technical sales division before coming to Inter County Energy.
At Inter County Energy, he has served as system engineer, supervising the Engineering Technicians, Engineering Service Coordinator and Mapping Technician. He has also coordinated efforts in the Automated Meter Reading project and performed system work plans and inspections. Following the retirement of Marvin Graham in January 2012, David has stepped into the position of Vice President of Engineering and Operations for the cooperative. David is a graduate of the Management Internship Program held at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
David has two children Amber and Dusty.
