Vickie Lay

Vickie Lay has over 36 years of electric utility experience with Inter-County Energy.  She began working at Inter-County in March 1977 in the Billing Department.  In 1979 she was promoted to the Accounting Department where she performed payroll and other accounting duties.  In 1992, Vickie was promoted to Vice President of Office Services where she supervised the Billing and Accounting Departments.  After some restructuring in 2003, she became Vice President of Finance & Accounting where she continues to supervise Accounting as well as Human Resources.

Vickie received her degree in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University with emphasis in Management and Human Resources.  She has completed numerous supervisory and management courses offered by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) as well as an intensive Management Internship Program held at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

Vickie is a graduate of Leadership Boyle County and has worked in numerous volunteer opportunities in the community and at Junction City United Methodist Church.

Vickie lives in Danville with her husband, Ray.
