Dear Inter-County Energy Member:
When 2020 began, we didn’t know what was in store for the Inter-County Energy and our members. In March of 2020, we temporarily suspended disconnects and late fees for nonpayment of all Inter-County Energy accounts. While we knew we could not sustain this measure indefinitely, we did this as an emergency relief to help our members who suddenly found themselves in financial hardship due to the COVID-19 health crisis.
Now it's 2023 and we are still here and are still asking our members to call our offices and inquire about payment options. We presently have several options that allows you to pay your electric bill, manage your electric bill and hopefully one of the following ways will assist you.
- Levelized Billing
- Prepay Metering Program allows you to pay as you go and manage your debt.
- Download our mobile app, setup your login and pay your bill. You will also have access to your daily usage and are able to set up Alerts and Reminders.
- Drop your payment by our night deposit if it after hours or drive by during regular business hours and pay it in-person.
- We also have an Autodraft and Ebilling option if that works better.
We understand that the past few years have been challenging for many in our communities. We are committed to working with our members to navigate the financial difficulties some faced then and now because of the COVID-19 health crisis. Please continue to contact your local county Community Action agency if you are having problems with paying your utility bill.
We are asking members to call our offices at 1-888-266-7322 and talk to a member accounts representative about your options. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30PM.
