NOTICE TO INTER-COUNTY ENERGY CUSTOMERS

Severe weather may have required that some energy bills mailed on March 4, 2010 be calculated based on estimates, rather than actual meter readings. In these rare situations, Inter-County Energy will work closely with members to resolve all billing questions.

A special note will appear in the “Bill Message” section of the bill if your account was estimated during this billing period. Billing inquiries or other request can be made by calling 1-888-266-7322/236-4561 between the hours of
8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Inter-County Energy to launch new customer information system

On May 18th, Inter-County Energy will embark on a new era using state-of-the-art technology to launch a new customer information system called UtilityPowerNet (UPN).  The actual transition to the UPN, for the most part, will be seamless to the member.  The most significant change will be a new account number and a redesigned, enhanced monthly bill statement.

Members who use a third-party agent, such as a bank's online payment system, will need to notify the vendor of your new account number when it is issued on your first bill.  If you view and pay your monthly bill on our web site, you will be required to set up a new logon and password.

Inter-County Energy is excited about all that UPN will offer.  Watch for more information in the mail and in the Kentucky Living magazine including details about new expanded features that UPN will offer in the future.
