KRUS Scholarships available

The Kentucky Roundtable for Utility Safety is now accepting applications through April 15 for scholarships available to immediate family members of those employed by a Kentucky utility or work within the electrical utility industry in Kentucky. Immediate family members are defined as spouse, child, stepchild, grandchild or step-grandchild. KRUS anticipates awarding thirteen $1000 scholarships.

In addition, KRUS expects to award six $1000 lineman scholarships designated for applicants attending a Kentucky lineman college. For these scholarships, the applicant is not required to have an immediate family member employed by a Kentucky utility.

KRUS aims to assist members of the utility safety profession to perform their duties in safety and training through the exchange of information, programs, experiences and other useful materials available.  KRUS provides members with an open forum to discuss safety issues impacting the utility industry.
